Bag Flag

An Israeli flag appears on a bag promoting the selling of dresses. I didn't see actually any doll walking in the street with this kind of gadget, but it seems that it won't be long till each Israeli patriot will have at least one of these bags (and then the Arabs will make bags with their own flags:)

Shma Israel

Shma Israel in Hebrew means in English “hear oh Israel” and it is a traditional Jewish prayer. Here we see a unique design of a Star of David made from the Hebrew letters of Shma Israel. Candy Box in the shape of a Star of David

This is a commercial advertisement from the fifties showing a drawing of a candy box in the shape of a Star of David held in the hand of a beautiful woman. This style of drawings was replaced later by pictures of candy boxes and of beautiful women, which left fewer places for imagination. Anyhow, seeing the Jewish star in such a nostalgic context is quite unique, so I’m proud to bring you this excellent picture.

Olive Wood Candlestick

For Chanukah, which starts next week, Aviram Paz from Kibbutz Mishmar Ha'emek prepared in his amateur carpentry workshop this original olive wood candlestick in the shape of the Star of David, and without any nail.
